So now France has also been targeted by Chinese hackers.
[yawn]
So what?
Are we supposed to believe that the intelligence agencies of France, Britain, Germany and America are somehow above reproach and never spy on anybody, electronically by hacking their computers or otherwise?
I guess this is a good sign: China has risen to the point that the current powers are actually starting to feel threatened.
Now, if everybody could just grow up and start dealing with the real issues this world faces?
From the article readings and my language understanding, the hacking in France came THROUGH China but not FROM China. With new hacking technologies, it may be some US or European hackers launch through zombie PCs in China. Why is it possible? Because, Chinese PCs are full of viruses with copied softwares, therefore so easy to control them. Can China be a scapegoat?
Good point, I didn’t notice that. I think I was getting a bit tired when I read that article.
Well, in this case, clearly China can not reasonably be scapegoated, but the feeling I got from the article was that they were trying to blame China. Guess I should read more carefully next time.
