surprisingly good

Of all the articles on archaeology or history on china.org.cn, this is by far the best I’ve seen so far. It’s still a newspaper article, but it actually provides some context and background. And, it has me thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to go back to Hunan. Again. I often think about going back to Hunan for a visit. It’s a great place, and it holds a particularly special position in my life in China. Anyway, this Qin Dynasty road, even if the history as reported in this article is dodgy (and it is probably beyond dodgy), is another reason to go back for a look-see as soon as the opportunity arises.
