So it transpires that Stephen Fry has a blog, on which are posted blessays (to me it sounds like a blessing that has become so long as to rival a fresher’s essay in bletheringness, but I’ll allow Mr Fry his neologism).

And Dave Sgonechina has a piece about being white in modern China and racism in general riffing off what Stephen Fry has to say about fame. Both are well worth reading.

  1. I’ll try Stephen Fry’s blog again tomorrow at some stage. I can’t get onto it directly and even via anonymouse I’m not getting anywhere. I assume you’re not using a proxy from Beijing.

  2. No, no proxy, got to it directly. I guess you’re bumping up against one of nanny’s odd little local quirks. Either that or heavy traffic at Stephen Fry’s end, he is famous, after all.
