Just saw on Jiangxi Satellite (that human interest programme whose presenter’s voice really rubs me up the wrong way, but whose name I don’t know) an article about a guy living in Yunnan, probably somewhere near Lijiang, who has arms but no hands. Man, this guy is awesome: No hands, but he can use chopsticks, write, sew, drive, generally function as if there was absolutely nothing missing from his body, not even his appendix. And not just drive, but he could drive a BJC jeep over a four wheel drive course that would defeat most “able-bodied” drivers. Awesome.
